Team IBEW Takes the Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota!!
Saturday, February 20, 2010, Rockville, MN - What motivates highly skilled, well trained electricians to jump into a frozen lake in late February? For Team IBEW, it was the opportunity to raise money for and in support of Special Olympics Minnesota. Four brave souls from Team IBEW raised over $500 and took the plunge with 300 other St. Cloud area residents raising over $50,000 to benefit Special Olympics Minnesota. Through the enthusiastic participation of Team IBEW and their fellow plungers, a difference was made in the lives of 6,500 Minnesota athletes with intellectual disabilities. read more »
